WiM Washington welcomes you!

The Washington State Women in Manufacturing Chapter was established in Feb 2019; the chapter is a part of the Women in Manufacturing Association, a national non-profit trade association based in Cleveland, Ohio whose mission is to Support, Promote, and Inspire women in the manufacturing industry.  Since launching our chapter in 2019, our team has hosted 12 events with over 500 participants locally in the Seattle Area.  Our local board is committed to creating high value professional development opportunities for Washington State manufacturers (not just women).  The WiM Washington chapter is led by passionate women whose drive is to help talented individuals succeed in their manufacturing roles whether on the shop floor or behind an administrative desk by creating a supportive professional community.
Our events are unique in a sense that we design our educational content to ensure manufacturers leave with tools and takeaways that can be put to use right away.  Don't be fooled though, while there is a ton of learning and development going on...we have a good time!  We are honored to be partnering with the City of Kent, Washington to produce this manufacturing conference: Intrapreneurship 2020!
